I have been contacted by a couple of organizations who are collecting stuffed animals for charity. This is a great way for children to connect with the idea of giving to those in need.
The first organization is SAFE "Stuffed Animals for Emergencies". They accept new and gently used stuffed animals that are given out by the Police, Fire Department, and other emergency response teams to give comfort to children in a time of crisis.
