When you are in the marketplace encourage your kids to ask questions. I found most of the vendors more than happy to pass on the meaning or history of an item. It helps bring special significance to a purchase for the kids. My girls bought handmade animal beads that they thought suited their personality. One thing I had wished I had was a string, strip of leather or a small fabric bag to keep them safe. You may want to pack snacks if your kids aren't adventurous with food. If you have never been to a Pow Wow their website has great spectator tips and information on what you will see.CLICK HERE | |
