Cute Little Water Park

I know during the summer months my kids would spend every day at the pool if they could but I have a hard time keeping and eye on both kids in a big pool. Even places with kiddy pools are hard because my oldest keeps begging to go in the "real pool".

For those of us out North there is a great solution. Brushy Creek Lake Park has a fun water playscape, no pool, and it’s FREE! It consists of water mushrooms and in ground fountains that are timed to different arrangements. It's great fun for toddlers and big kids alike.

My kids love to put their beach ball on top of a fountain and watch it shoot up into the air.

Its open daily from 10:00am to 8:00pm from April 29th to September 30th. There are bathroom facilities, a playground, and picnic tables nearby. We've been there for full on outings to quick "let's wear the kids out so they sleep" visits.

It’s located at 3300 Brushy Creek Rd. in Cedar Park right off Parmer Lane. For a map and more info go to www.ci.cedar-park.tx.us/index.asp?NID=102

One last tip if you go, be prepared to get wet!
