Austin Opal Divines Saturdays, -10am-3pm, All Opal Divines Locations, . Known for its wide selection of beer but also has a great kids menu and very kid friendly staff. Some notable menu items are Organic Peanut butter and honey sandwiches, turkey corndogs, and smiley face pancakes....with ears. They offer brunch on Saturdays until 3pm so you can be nostalgic for the days you actually did eat breakfast in the afternoon on weekends. Keep in mind they do allow smoking at outside seating but it is a smoke free environment inside. Speaking of environment they have a very impressive green initiative. . Free or 1/2 price 3pm- 10pm

Austin Texas Land and Cattle Saturdays -11:00am - 4:00pm, All Locations, . Kids 12 and under eat for free. They offer some of the Kids menu standards as well as grilled chicken and a chopped steak. Plus the offer a Gluten Free menu for those who need it..

READER RECOMENDED: We've been to 3 different locations now and every time the staff was very accommodating to families and genuinely had fun with our kids. Having a salad on the kids menu and topping off the meal with shamrock cookies are big pluses too..

Austin Central Market North Tuesdays: Kids Eat Free -5:00 - 9:00 pm, 4001 North Lamar (only), 512-206-1000. They have a large and (sometimes a bit rowdy) playground. Live music on the weekends, food that appeals to the adult palette, and free kids meals on Tuesday Nights. We always stop by the north entrance of the Grocery store for a balloon on the way out..
